University of Central Florida standout cornerback Mac McWilliams visited the Texans, according to a league source.
McWilliams (5-foot-10, 191 pounds) played in the prestigious Senior Bowl all-star game, impressing teams with his ability to break crisply on the football and his physicality.

McWilliams had 32 tackles, 6 1/2 for losses, one sack, two pass deflections and an interception in his lone season at UCF before declaring for the NFL draft.
McWilliams has run the 40-yard dash in 4.41 seconds with a 1.52 10-yard split, a 34-inch vertical leap and a dozen reps in the bench press.
He has significant experience lining up in the slot.
“I’m very comfortable,” McWilliams said of playing in the slot at the NFL scouting combine. “I’m comfortable playing in space.”
In his final season at UAB before transferring, he had 52 tackles, two for losses, nine pass deflections, a forced fumble and a fumble recovery. He was a team captain along with his older brother Fish McWilliams, a defensive tackle. In five college seasons, McWilliams had 133 tackles, two interceptions and 25 passes defensed.
“Just being vocal, understanding the defense, studying film,” McWilliams said of his approach to football. “We went over things to make sure it clicks. Just being consistent, I think I proved a lot and proved I’m one of the best.”
