Hitchcock Bulldogs readying for first trip to state since 2004

HITCHCOCK – It’s tournament time once again on the road at the Alamodome in San Antonio and this week, the Houston area will be well represented at the UIL State tournament.

While the Atascocita Eagles will head to San Antonio to play in the Class 6A Final Four beginning Friday night, the  Bulldogs from Hitchcock high school will play in the Class 3A Final Four.

The Bulldogs will play San Antonio Cole High School Thursday afternoon at the Alamodome at 3:00 p.m.

This will be Hitchcock’s first state tournament appearance since 2004.

KPRC 2 Sports photojournalist Allen Reid traveled to Hitchcock on Monday as the Bulldogs prepared for their big game.
