This week’s KPRC 2 & UTMB Health Athlete of the Week is Alief Hastings’ Melinda Winston.
The all-time leading scorer is committed to Georgia Southern University, and has 2,000 points under her belt.
“I would compare her to James Harden, she’s an MVP, she’s quick, left-handed, and gets the job done,” said head coach Corey Brotherton.
