The Advanced Law Enforcement Rapid Response Training Center has seen an increase in training requests from law enforcement agencies, following the Robb Elementary School massacre.

Uvalde’s mayor is contradicting what was considered a major revelation regarding a police officer having the chance to stop the shooter before entering Robb Elementary back in May.

Mayor Don McLaughlin denied a recent report that said a Uvalde officer passed up a chance to shoot the gunman at Robb Elementary. The officer never saw the gunman, he said.

For more than a decade, Texas has allowed teachers and other school employees to carry weapons on campus.
