Law enforcement in Kentucky say numerous people have been shot along an interstate highway.

U.S. Capitol Police tweeted on Wednesday just before 3 p.m. ET that their officers were searching in and around a Senate office building in response to “a concerning 911 call.”

Police descended on the University of Oklahoma on Friday night after a report of an active shooter and later found no sign of a shooting and no injuries, officials said.

Parents, siblings, and friends were emotional as they waited at a staging area at West Fuqua and Hiram Clarke to be reunited with students.
