A man is dead after crashing into a tree in northwest Houston Sunday.

Houston police say it's unclear what led up to the crash and due to how badly the car was burned, they're unable to make out who the driver is.

HOUSTON – A Texas Department of Public Safety trooper fatally shot an armed robbery suspect Friday night in northwest Houston, according to Houston Police Department. The incident occurred around 7:40 p.m.DPS Special Agents were involved in a shooting with an armed robbery suspect near Antoine and Victory in Houston. That’s when the DPS special agent opened fire, killing the man. There’s no ID on the suspect, but HCSO and DPS say he was part of an investigation into several armed robberies in Harris County. The DPS special agent was placed on administrative leave, which is standard procedure.

Suspect 3: About 5-05 to 5-07, 135-150 pounds, wearing a camouflage hooded sweater, black pants, white socks, with black and white slide sandals, blue medical-style face mask. Suspect 4: Black male, wearing a black hooded sweater with a graphic on the chest, black pants with a white stripe down the leg, black shoes, and a facemask. Crime Stoppers is offering up to $5,000 for information leading to the charging and/or arrest of these4 men.

HOUSTON – Two children and an adult were injured after a vehicle struck a day care Wednesday afternoon in northwest Harris County, according to Harris County Precinct 1 Constable Alan Rosen. The incident was reported around 2 p.m. in the 8000 block of Antoine Drive. Officials said the driver attempted to run from the scene but was arrested. They also said the man, who was in his 20’s, was driving a car reported stolen by his aunt. Please check back for updates.
