A heartbroken family is demanding justice after a 16-year-old was shot and killed in Humble.

Community leaders are calling for the superintendent of Humble ISD and the principal at Atascocita High School to resign after a fight broke out between parents and students.

"I got word late this afternoon that we had the green light to start tomorrow if we'd like," Humble ISD Athletic Director Troy Kite said about restarting Strength & Conditioning Camps. As of 7 p.m. on Tuesday, Katy ISD and Humble ISD had announced their intentions to restart Strength & Conditioning Camps starting Wednesday, July 29. The very next tweet on their timeline, quoting Humble ISD Athletics Tuesday announcement - "WE'RE BACK!!!!! For Humble ISD, the district had been hosting Strength & Conditioning Camps since June 8, when the University Interscholastic League made it where those could resume. Humble ISD has been very active in getting input from the parents of their students through surveys that have been conducted throughout the summer.

HOUSTON – Police are searching for the man wanted in connection with a fatal shooting at Atascocita High School in Humble. According to the Harris County Sheriff’s Office, Jaqwaun Pradia, 19, has been charged with murder in connection with the death of 19-year-old Eric Willis. Willis and Pradia are two former Humble Independent School District students and have a history of disputes, authorities said. Investigators said multiple witnesses identified Pradia as the shooter. Anyone with information of Pradia’s whereabouts is asked to call 911, the Homicide Unit at 713-274-9100, or call Crime Stoppers at 713-222-TIPS (8477).
