SAN LUIS POTOSI, MEXICO – A child, identified as Albert Castanon, 10, is among the two people who reportedly died in a bus crash Saturday near San Luis Potosi, Mexico, the family said.
Alvardo claims Castanon’s mother traveled to San Luis Potosi to identify her son’s body and to began preparing funeral arrangements.
According to Mexican media outlets, two people were killed, and at least ten people were injured when a bus traveling from Houston to Mexico crashed at about 9 a.m. due to inclement weather.
The bus departed Houston Friday from the Transportes Chavez bus station at 606 Dell Court in north Houston.
"It was really bad.”The injured passengers were moved to hospitals with the help of Mexico’s national guard, according to the Consulate General of Mexico.
