The boy, Xander Gonzales, was caught on the parents’ RING video wandering in front of the home. His parents, Anthony and Barbee Gonzales, said they were shocked, but ultimately relieved that their son was unharmed and home safe. Anthony and Barbee feel blessed to have a big family: 11-year-old Andrew, 9-year-old Amri, 5-year-old Xander, 3-year-old Benjamin, and 1-year-old Joshua. “He just so happened to see my son,” Anthony explained.

In addition, the department will open the Brazoria County 288 Expressway, a 5-mile section from the Brazoria/Harris county line at Clear Creek to County Road 58 north. Brazoria County Judge Matt Sebesta said it’s an opening that has been a long time coming. “It will help with congestion relief on Highway 288,” Sebesta said in a press release. “We are excited to see the Brazoria County Expressway completed, allowing our residents to spend less time in traffic and more time at home with their families.”Residents can travel the expressway for free from Harris County to Brazoria County, between Nov. 16-29.

The intersection of Longwood and Myrtlewood drives in Pearland looks like an island because it’s surrounded by water, which has started to recede. The back part of his home is surrounded by several feet of flood water from the Clear Creek. Stasny says he has flood insurance and he’s waiting on an inspector to look at the damage. Now, his family is cleaning up, removing the sheetrock and starting over on a home they just re-built.

Defensively, the Knights are led by junior DB Tristan Zarella (3 INTs) and junior LB Kannon Garza (60 total tackles). Behind seniors Daevien Williams (44 total tackles) and Cameron Brown, who also plays linebacker, the secondary has some bright spots.
