HOUSTON A day after students in the Clear Creek Independent School District returned to in-person classes, officials reported that a student at one school and a staffer at another have tested positive for coronavirus.
According to the district, no other students, teachers or staff came into contact with the child.
On Aug. 27, Clear Creek ISDs Greene Elementary School put out a report that showed one staff member had tested positive making that the districts second positive case in as many days.
Here is the statement from Clear Creek on the staff member who tested positive:Last week, on August 27, the district communicated out to Greene Elementary employees that a staff member had tested positive for the virus.
Other districts, such as Lamar Consolidated ISD and Barbers Hill ISD, also have students who have tested positive for coronavirus upon returning to the classroom.
