Lawmakers and other community leaders will hold An emergency town hall Friday at Emancipation Park in Houston's Third Ward to respond to a rise in crimes at the University of Houston campus.

The search for Eric Brown, who is wanted for sexual assault at the University of Houston has now gone on for more than 10 days after he was mistakenly released 24 hours after he was arrested.

The attack has sparked growing concerns among students and parents, with many calling on the university to take stronger action to improve campus security.
