A Houston restaurant is facing a lawsuit, accused of serving alcohol in excess to the driver found to be at-fault in a deadly 2023 crash in downtown.

Houston Police say a woman who was critically injured in a deadly crash that killed three former University of Houston football players in downtown Houston in November 2023 has died.

Families have released information about the memorials for Lauren Holliday and former NFL player D.J. Hayden, who died in a fatal crash along with four other people on Nov. 11.

Coming off Second Baptist School’s playoff win Friday night, Head Football Coach Beck Brydon was in the weight room when he learned defensive back coach, D.J. Hayden had passed.

Hayden was a native of Missouri City and graduated from Elkins High School.
