Deputies said they were called to Solomon Road off South Walker Road in the Midway Community of North Montgomery County around 8 p.m. about reports of a fatal shooting. When deputies arrived at the scene, they said they found 64-year-old Steve Walker dead on the floor with gunshot wounds. Detective Haas with Montgomery County Homicide and Violent Crimes Units said Walker’s story was very inconsistent and there had been an argument earlier. She is currently being held in the Montgomery County jail on a $250,000 bond.

HOUSTON – A man who robbed a gas station in northwest Harris County Wednesday and led deputies on a high-speed chase was arrested, Harris County sheriff’s deputies said. District 5 deputies said a Circle K Gas Station in the 9000 block of Jones Road was robbed by a suspect armed with a gun. Deputies said they located the suspect with the help of a 3SI tracker, which was inside the bag of stolen money. When deputies tried to pull over the suspect, investigators said he hit the gas and led deputies on a high-speed chase, at times reaching speeds over 140 miles per hour. After he attempted to flee on foot, deputies said the suspect was caught and taken into custody.

HOUSTON – Four people, including a shooting suspect, are dead at a SWAT scene in east Harris County, Sheriff Ed Gonzalez said Wednesday. When deputies arrived at the scene, they began to approach the residence and an unknown suspect fired at them, investigators said. Deputies at the scene were heard on a megaphone saying, “Louis, come out of the house. Gonzalez said when they gained entry into the home after hearing a gunshot, they found two women and two men dead. Deputies said the two other victims may be the adult children of the woman in a relationship with the suspect.

THE WOODLANDS, Texas – Montgomery County deputies are searching for a man they said was seen on surveillance video stealing from a Walmart in The Woodlands and flashing a pistol at employees. The robbery was reported on Nov. 19 at the Walmart located at 10001 Woodlands Parkway. Deputies said the man entered the building and filled up a plastic tote with items and walked to the self-checkout. Deputies said the man scanned and paid for the tote but not the items inside and when he tried to walk out of the building, he was confronted by three employees. Deputies released a surveillance photo of the man in hopes that someone can identify him.

HOUSTON – Two men were found shot to death Tuesday outside a home near the Katy area, according to Harris County deputies. Deputies said both men were found lifeless in the yard of the home. Deputies said the gunman eventually shot the resident multiple times, killing him. HOUSTON – Harris County deputies seized 100 kilos of cocaine during a traffic stop on the East Freeway. The discovery was made after deputies received a call of a suspicious pickup truck involved in criminal activity, officials said. The traffic stop was conducted in the 6500 block of I-10 East, officials said. A date of the traffic stop was not given by authorities. Deputies found the cocaine bundles under a tarp in the bed of the truck.

SAN ANTONIO – An investigation is underway after Bexar County Sheriff’s Office deputies discovered what may be the largest meth lab bust in the area, according to reports. Sheriff Javier Salazar said deputies found 10 buckets of raw liquid heroin, large vats and gas-propelled burners that were possibly used for cooking methamphetamines. Deputies also found 78 kilos of meth, worth nearly $4 million, as well as about $400,000 worth of heroin. “If there is a silver lining to this, it’s we were able to get those kids out that dangerous situation,” Salazar told KSAT. Salazar encouraged anyone who has any additional information to come forward and call the Bexar County Sheriff’s Office at 210-335-6070.

HOUSTON – One person is dead after they were hit by a vehicle in northeast Harris County Friday, deputies said. Deputies said it happened around 12:26 a.m. on the Beltway 8 Feeder Road near West Lake Houston Parkway. District 2 and traffic units working a fatal Auto Pedestrian accident on north BW 8 west feeder near W Lake Houston Parkway. West Bound feeder will be closed for several hours. Deputies said the westbound feeder will be closed for several hours.

HOUSTON – Harris County sheriff’s deputies said they are investigating a fatal shooting that left a father dead in northeast Harris County Sunday. According to deputies, an ex-husband, who has been identified as 32-year-old Donald Robinson, was dropping his child off back home to the child’s mother and her husband. The new husband then pulled out a firearm and fatally shot the ex-husband, deputies said. Investigators said Robinson provided a statement claiming he shot Henderson because Henderson punched him. Deputies said Robinson will be charged with murder and booked into the Harris County Jail.

HOUSTON – Harris County sheriff’s deputies are investigating after they said a man in his 70s was shot in his face during a drive-by Tuesday. When they arrived at the scene, deputies said they found an elderly man who had been shot in the face. According to investigators, the man had been lying in bed when the shooter shot up the house. CONROE, Texas – A man who is accused of sexually abusing children in Montgomery County was arrested in Oregon last month. Montgomery County deputies said they received information on Sept. 2 indicating William Harris, 37, was sexually abusing a child and producing child pornography. Deputies said they learned that Harris was trying to flee the state and asked the FBI and U.S. Harris was found and arrested in Eugene, Oregon, and extradited to Texas on Sept. 24, deputies said. GEORGETOWN, Texas – Two former employees of a Texas sheriff’s office say leaders rewarded officers with steakhouse gift cards when they used force on the job. A former deputy whose use of force is under investigation told investigators about the gift cards in a recorded interview obtained by the Austin American Statesman and KVUE-TV. Deputies who received the gift cards include two involved in the 2019 death of Javier Ambler, according to former deputy Christopher Pisa. Steve Deaton giving Johnson and Camden the gift cards, and the investigator did not ask, according to the Statesman. One incident involved an April 2019 traffic stop Pisa conducted in which he used force on an African American woman.

HOUSTON – A person was hospitalized when a pregnant woman shot at a driver during a road rage incident on North Freeway Friday, according to Harris County deputies. The alleged road rage incident began at 12:45 p.m. near JFK and Beltway 8 and ended in the 500 block of Rankin Road. Deputies said the pregnant woman in a Jeep Cherokee got into a dispute with another woman in a red-colored sedan with a 5-year-old girl inside. At some point, deputies said the pregnant driver tried to pass the woman and flipped the Jeep into a ditch. Deputies said everyone in the Jeep was “OK” and the pregnant woman was taken in custody.

HOUSTON – Deputies said they are on the lookout for a dark-colored Dodge Ram pickup truck with front-end damage after a bicyclist was hit and killed Sunday night. Deputies said the incident happened at around 9 a.m. on Seven Mile Lane and William Tell Street in northeast Harris County. According to investigators, the truck went around a car that had stopped to make a turn and ended up hitting the bicyclist, then fled the scene. Deputies said the bicyclist died at the hospital. Anyone with information is urged to contact Harris County Sheriff’s Office.

ROSENBERG, Texas – Fort Bend County sheriff’s deputies are investigating after a man died from being trapped inside a concrete hopper car at a plant Thursday morning, they said. Deputies said the incident happened in Rosenberg near 59 and Daily Road at around 12:55 a.m. According to deputies, a caller said the man was unconscious and they couldn’t see if he was breathing or had a pulse. When deputies arrived at the concrete plant, they found the victim trapped inside the hopper. Deputies said the man was an employee, but he hasn’t been identified.

HOUSTON – Harris County sheriff’s deputies are investigating a vehicle crash they said left one man dead and another man injured in southwest Harris County Monday morning. Deputies said the incident happened at around 1:35 a.m. in the 7500 block of State Highway 6 and Empanada. When deputies arrived at the scene, they said they found one driver, who has been identified as Norberto Mejia, dead in the two-vehicle accident. Deputies said that is when the driver of a white Nissan Altima rear-ended the SUV at a high rate of speed. The SUV ended up in a parking lot further south on Highway 6 due to the impact of the crash, deputies said.

CYPRESS, Texas – An investigation is underway after police said a teen was drugged and sexually assaulted in northwest Harris County. When they arrived, they found a 14-year-old girl in a car with two men in their 20s, according to authorities. Deputies said the girl told them she had been drugged and sexually assaulted. According to Sheriff Ed Gonzales, both men were arrested on unrelated charges, including possession of narcotics. One of the men was found to be a previously convicted felon in possession of a weapon, Gonzales said.
