Rooftop Cinema Club Uptown has unveiled this year’s fall movie lineup.

Friday at 1:00 p.m. on Houston Life, Texas actress Taylor Paige Henderson joins us in studio. She plays a key role in the new Hocus Pocus movie as young Winifred Sanderson, (Bette Midler’s character). Get to know Henderson, Friday at 1:00 p.m. on KPRC 2.

Every millennial’s favorite Halloween movie, “Hocus Pocus,” is finally getting a sequel with Bette Midler, Sarah Jessica Parker and Kathy Najimy all reprising their roles as the iconic Sanderson sisters.

We know that September just started and it’s still technically summer, but that doesn’t mean we can’t start to get excited about Halloween!

The highly-anticipated return of the Sanderson sisters in “Hocus Pocus 2″ is coming on Sept. 30, on Disney+.

Cinephiles, take your love of movies outdoors with a trip to one of the Space City’s coolest theaters: Rooftop Cinema Club Uptown. The popular open-air, rooftop venue reopened in September after closing in 2020 amid the COVID-19 pandemic. Come October, the venue will screen several spooky favorites, including The Nightmare Before Christmas, Hocus Pocus, Texas Chainsaw Massacre, Halloween and The Addams Family.

There are so many Halloween movies to choose from when it comes to celebrating the spooky holiday, but none of them come close to the magic that is "Hocus Pocus."

Fans of the film “Hocus Pocus” have taken their love for all things fall and Halloween to a new level. Now at Starbucks, fans are able to order Sanderson Sisters-inspired drinks thanks to fan-crafted orders. We are trying the Hocus Pocus Starbucks drinks hack! Here’s what to ask for when you order:Winifred SandersonA green tea frappuccino, add one pump of white mocha syrup and peppermint syrup with whipped cream and crushed strawberry inclusions on top. Mary SandersonA strawberries and cream frappuccino, substitute the sweetener for white mocha syrup, strawberry purée on the bottom and top with extra strawberry inclusions and top with mocha drizzle.

HOUSTON – Rooftop Cinema Club is bringing in the fall drive-in season with comic book heroes, Halloween favorites, romance films and more. Guests can also continue enjoying Rooftop’s popular $5 “Community Screenings” every Sunday where 100% of the proceeds are donated directly to the Houston Food Bank and the Black Lives Matter organization. For a late-night-date-night Sunday through Thursday, the venue offers $20-per-vehicle tickets (for 2 people) for all 10-11 p.m. screenings. Doors open one hour prior to all 7:30-8 p.m. screenings and 30 minutes prior to the 10-11 p.m. screenings. Guests are encouraged to arrive early as parking spaces will be assigned for each section on a first-come-first-serve basis.
