As stores were filled with shoppers Monday evening before Christmas Day, panic erupted inside Katy Mills mall after shots were fired inside the building, according to authorities.

The 25,000 square foot outdoor inflatable playground is set up in the Katy Mills Mall parking lot for a limited time.

The first incident was a robbery that happened Tuesday. The second was an attempted robbery at gunpoint that happened on Wednesday.
