A whistleblower who says they helped expose a Klein ISD cosmetology teacher facing several felony charges, including sex trafficking and compelling prostitution, has hired a civil rights attorney.

Kedria Grisgby 42, and her son, Roger Magee, 21, were involved in a sex trafficking ring that included at least three teen girls. Grigsby reportedly taught Cosmetology at Klein Cain High School, is set to appear in court Monday.

But it was also an offseason, which she committed to stay at home post-high school and play for the Rice Owls. “I really just wanted to stay close to home because of my brother,” Mansfield said. They’re amazing.”But before she goes to Rice University, the junior still has two years of high school left and she has big goals. “Get the top digs in Texas, and also to keep all A’s in school to get me ready for Rice,” Mansfield said.
