On Wednesday, VYPE revealed the cover of the 13th edition of the publication, which featured seven baseball and softball stars from the Greater Houston Area. 2021 MLB Draft prospects Izaac Pacheco (Friendswood/Texas A&M) and Caedmon Parker (The Woodlands Christian Academy/TCU) were picked for the cover. A pair of 2022 MLB prospects also made the cover in dual-sport phenom Conner Weigman (Bridgeland/Texas A&M) and Jace LaViollete (Tompkins/LSU). HOUSTON In the truncated 2020 MLB Draft, the Houston Astros had even further disadvantage without the teams first two picks. One of those hopefuls is Missouri first-baseman/left-fielder Peter Zimmermann, a power hitter the Astros picked up in free agency. Lastly, Zimmermann is a St. Louis native and a Missouri baseball player. St. Louis is known for its square pizzas from Imos, while Columbia, Mo. One of the big questions around Winn heading into the draft is what would a team select him as. MLB Draft analysts considered him to be "one of the best two-way players in the draft". According to the MLB Draft Tracker, Winn's slot value - 54th overall - is valued at $1.34 million.

HOUSTON – An incredibly difficult college baseball season is even more troubling with a limited MLB Draft in June. More than 1,000 players will miss out on being drafted as the league shrunk its draft from 40 rounds to 5 rounds. Rice shortstop Trei Cruz is unlikely to be one of the players affected. Cruz is 2,251 hits away from tying his grandpa's record, and 204 home runs away from matching his dad. The MLB Draft is June 10.
