Rescue crews from nearly every emergency response agency in Harris County have collectively rescued just under 200 people from dangerous flood waters.

Conroe and other vulnerable areas could get hit by another three inches of rain over the weekend.

The victim has been identified as Pedro Angel Gonzalez, 9, by family members.

HOUSTON – A baby who was rushed to a hospital in Houston earlier this month after being hit by a car in Liberty County died Friday. According to authorities, the baby’s mother accidentally hit the child with her car. They told me to take the baby off the car seat and place it on the ground. Investigators said they are trying to determine how the child was hit by the car. No charges have been filed and the case has been referred to the Liberty County District Attorney’s Office for review.
