The Houston area is no stranger to rough roads and potholes, but one stretch of road in Pasadena has a pothole that’s putting others to shame.

A massive pothole on Highway 288 northbound inside the lane south of the Del Bello exit in Manvel is causing flat tires, according to the Manvel Police Department.

A large pothole has shut down three lanes at I-10 eastbound near SH 99, according to deputies with Chambers County Sheriff’s Office.

Drivers have been asked to avoid the Gulf Freeway northbound near Broadway due to a pothole that police said has been causing damage to tires.
