As Houston ISD staff and students, prepare to kick off the Spring 2025 semester, there are some important dates parents might want to remember.

Here’s a look at HISD’s Spring semester calendar with upcoming holidays and testing dates.

"While we continue to see progress in other areas - which is a testament to the dedication and skill of our Texas educators - it’s clear that math performance is not where students need it to be for success after graduation,” TEA Commissioner Mike Morath said.

Test results showed a steady performance compared to previous years, but showed slight declines in meeting grade-level percentages for U.S. History.
