HOUSTON – Houston police are investigating after they said a man was shot while attempting to take a couple’s SUV while at a gas station in northeast Houston Thursday. When officers arrived at the scene, they said they found a man with multiple gunshot wounds. According to investigators, it was reported the man that was shot tried taking an SUV after parking his damaged truck nearby. The suspect walked away from his truck and toward a couple that was at a gas pump with their SUV, investigators said. The suspect got out of the SUV and walked towards the back of the gas station, where investigators said he collapsed.

TOMBALL, Texas – A woman in northwest Harris County is dead after she was hit by an SUV on the freeway Wednesday night, Harris County sheriff’s deputies said. Deputies said the incident happened on the Tomball Parkway near Antoine at around 9 p.m. Investigators say a man driving a GMC SUV ran over the woman, who was already laying down in the roadway when she was hit. According to deputies, the driver pulled over, called 911 and tried to help the woman. For now, it’s unclear if the woman had been hit before the SUV ran her over. investigators also reported that the driver of the SUV showed no signs of impairment.

SPRING, Texas – An SUV ended up wedged between some vehicles at a Spring car lot Monday night after a crash. The crash was reported about 8:30 p.m. at the NEXCAR dealership on the North Freeway Service Road at East Louetta Road. According to authorities, the SUV went off the road and crashed into a fire hydrant before going airborne and landing at an angle between vehicles on the lot. It took rescuers about 45 minutes to stabilize the SUV before they were able to pull the driver from the vehicle. Four vehicles on the lot were damaged, authorities said.
