A new proposal from the Texas School Nursing Organization (TSNO) could make it mandatory for students to have a doctor’s note for over-the-counter medications like Benadryl, Tylenol, and even items like petroleum jelly and rash cream. The Texas Board of Nursing will review this proposal next week.
