Ad___Saturday’s men's basketball game between Texas A&M and Florida has been postponed due to COVID-19. It's the third straight Florida men's game affected by the coronavirus.

LUBBOCK, Texas Texas Tech fired women's basketball coach Marlene Stollings on Thursday, two days after a scathing newspaper report alleging a culture of abuse in her program. Over two years, 12 of 21 players left the program, including seven recruited under Stollings, according to the report. The pandemic-shortened season that ended in March was Stollings second at Texas Tech. Texas Tech finished 18-11 in Stollings second season after going 7-23 the year before she arrived. Brazilian center Marcella LaMark said she was called dangerous by Stollings because the coach said her fitness lagged so far behind her teammates.

(CNN) Several universities this week joined a growing list of schools reporting coronavirus cases within their athletic programs. Arkansas State reported that seven athletes from three sports programs tested positive last Wednesday. Three football players from Auburn University in Alabama tested positive, an Auburn athletics spokesperson confirmed to CNN. The Texas Tech athletic department on Monday confirmed recent positive tests for Covid-19 within the men's basketball program. "After attending a protest in Tulsa AND being well protective of myself, I have tested positive for COVID-19.
