Mayor John Whitmire and the Apache Corporation are having a news conference on Tuesday to discuss plans for the 17th annual Tour de Houston and upgrades expected for the bike ride.

Mayor Sylvester Turner and Apache Corporation announced plans for the city’s annual bike ride, Tour de Houston presented by Apache Corporation, on Wednesday at City Hall.

The 2022 Tour de Houston is finally underway after a two year-hiatus.
