HOUSTON – An 8-month-old baby girl was medevaced from the Carnival Triumph cruise ship early Monday morning, according to the Coast Guard. The Coast Guard says it received a call around 7:15 p.m. Sunday requesting medical evacuation for a baby who was suffering from seizures and having difficulty breathing. The helicopter arrived to the boat around 11:48 p.m. Sunday, according to the Coast Guard. The helicopter landed at Memorial Hermann Hospital at 2:13 a.m. Monday and all the passengers were safely delivered, according to officials. The condition of the 8-month-old has not yet been released.
