Environmental groups are once again at odds with politicians and fishermen in New England in the wake of a decision by high-end retail giant Whole Foods to stop selling Maine lobster.

Experts say the winter grassland fire that blew up along Colorado’s front range was rare.

Authorities are investigating after a father shot his son in the parking lot of a Whole Foods in Katy Tuesday afternoon, according to the Fort Bend County Sheriff’s Office.

Amazon is rolling out pay-by-palm technology at some Whole Foods grocery stores near its headquarters to make paying quicker and more convenient.

The Austin-based restaurant’s signature Diablo Sauce will be also available to purchase in stores. The Green Chile Queso will cost approximately $7.99 for an 11.5-ounce jar, which can be found in the refrigerated section at Whole Foods. The Diablo Sauce will cost approximately $9.99 for a 6.7-ounce bottle, which will be located in the hot sauce aisle. “In those early days, our Green Chile Queso became our calling card – when guests would try our tacos and queso, we’d often hear, ‘That’s damn good!’ It’s been a fan favorite ever since.

She relies on Amazon employees at more than 250 facilities who call, text or send her Facebook messages with possible cases. That has left workers like Jumpp to become amateur sleuths in their spare time. United for Respect, a labor group, collects anonymous reports from Walmart and Amazon workers through a new website. Walmart said that its COVID-19 cases track with the rest of the country but didn't explain why it doesn't provide numbers. Even though she doesn't work there anymore, the 25-year-old journalism student is still tracking cases at Whole Foods, which she says have surpassed 630.

Whole Foods announced a slew of changes as it works to support its employees while keeping its customers supplied with essentials during the COVID-19 pandemic. The supermarket chain will give its hourly employees a $2-an-hour pay bump, slash its operating hours and provide older customers a special shopping hour. Whole Foods will provide customers 60 and older the option to shop inside its locations one hour before they open to the general public. Additionally, Whole Foods locations will also temporarily shut down the self-serve section of the store, which include hot bars, salad bars and antipasti bars. Seated venues inside stores will offer takeout only, and any indoor or outdoor café seating is closed.
