Oscars producer Will Packer says Los Angeles police were ready to arrest Will Smith after Smith slapped Chris Rock at the Academy Awards.

Moments after Will Smith marched on stage and slapped presenter Chris Rock during Sunday night’s Oscars after Rock made a joke about Smith’s wife, Jada Pinkett Smith, being bald, social media went into a frenzy.

James Bond didn’t get an Oscar nomination this year, but that doesn’t mean he won’t be part of the ceremony.

After three years without a host, the Oscars are making up for lost time with three hosts for this year’s awards: Amy Schumer, Regina Hall and Wanda Sykes are set to host the 94th Academy Awards, producer Will Packer said Tuesday.
