Officials with the Houston Independent School District are discussing and addressing safety concerns after an officer-involved shooting and police chase that resulted in a lockdown at Wisdom High School Thursday.

A teenager and two others have been arrested and charged after police said one of them fired at officers and was shot, while another ran inside a Houston Independent School District campus, prompting a lockdown Thursday afternoon.

An 18-year-old Wisdom High School student has been arrested and charged for an alleged brutal beating of one of his classmates.
