Read full article: Caught on camera: Copper thief leaves NW Harris County restaurant without powerA Northwest Harris County Restaurant was forced to delay their grand opening after a copper thief damaged an electrical power pole and left them without power for days. Juanita’s Mexican Restaurant located near the intersection of Louetta Road and Lakewood Forest Drive told KPRC 2 the incident happened on November 17th.The thief was caught on camera and appeared to have experience with the crime. The restaurant shared the video with KPRC 2 in hopes of identifying the person responsible. The Restaurant also filed a police report with the Harris County Sheriff’s office is who is now investigating. KPRC 2’s Bill Barajas will have a full report during our 5pm and 6pm newscasts.
