A man who spent one month in a coma after what he says was a severe beating at the Harris County Jail is now suing the county, claiming federal civil rights violations.

A former Pasadena police officer has been indicted by a grand jury in the shooting of a man during a traffic stop in 2021. According to a lawsuit filed against the former officer and the City of Pasadena, it was not the first time he shot a person while on duty.
