Pedro Luis Parra Pulgar, a 46-year-old resident of Fulshear, has been charged with three counts of attempted murder after allegedly setting his home on fire with his three children inside.

Four people were hospitalized after a fire broke out at a home in Fulshear Wednesday morning.

A small alligator at their front door prompted a Fulshear family to call for help and Lieutenant Bill Henry with the Fulshear Police Department showed up.

"Our hearts are heavy with grief for Aisha and her family," Fulshear police said. "We deeply appreciate everyone who helped in the search and shared the information. Please keep Aisha's family in your thoughts and prayers during this incredibly difficult time."

Officials said Schoof and Rice were the only passengers on board the aircraft at the time of the crash. The cause of the crash is under investigation.

As Klein and Friendswood remain constants, the rest of the volleyball landscape in Houston is a little bumpy. The Woodlands lost back-to-back matches last week to St. Agnes and Klein, allowing for Seven Lakes, Dawson and George Ranch to gain ground in the Top 5. HOUSTON The Fulshear Police Department discovered the bodies of two men at home while conducting a welfare check Monday morning, police said. At about 10 a.m., a family member called Fulshear police to conduct a welfare check at the 7400 block of Katy Fulshear Road, officials said. Police say the homeowner and a friend of the homeowner who lived nearby were both found dead in the home. Officials said the bodies were in such bad shape that they werent able to immediately discern a cause of death. Investigators are at the scene and are working to learn the cause of death.

An experienced senior group is back, headed by Addison Stevenson, who finished ninth overall with a time of 18:06.58. If Tompkins can push a few more girls into the Top 30 spots, they could contend for a higher team finish. The team finished 13th overall at last year's state meet but do return some experience.
