'Love, Jamie' is now available to stream as part of the American Masters series on PBS.

According to the Texas Criminal Justice Coalition, more than 70,000 people return to the community from Texas prisons each year. More than 1 million people cycle through Texas county jails according to the Center for Justice Research at Texas Southern University. Sydrena Tufts, 51, said the Success Through Addiction Recovery drug court, known as STAR, saved her life. “I had never completed anything in my life so completing the drug court program was very important for me,” she said.
