Lindsay Yates stopped by Houston Life along with her 10-year-old son, Logan, who is a blood cancer survivor. They were joined by Leukemia and Lymphoma Society Board Member Lauren Paine, who explained more about the importance of the 'Visionaries of the Year' campaign and the remarkable global impact LLS has had in the fight against cancer.

Approximately every 3 minutes, one person in the U.S. is diagnosed with leukemia, lymphoma, or myeloma. These are blood and bone marrow cancers. Houstonian, Anuj Patel was one of them. Now, he and his family are raising awareness and money for the Leukemia Lymphoma Society.
