Investigators said the man's family lives nearby and likes to hang around the area, so when someone recognized him they initially believed he had a seizure — but police said he has head and neck trauma.

A 62-year-old man in custody at the Harris County Jail died Thursday after authorities said he suffered an apparent medical emergency.
