Remi Yusuf, a native of Houston, founded the Be A 9th Wonder Foundation, which offers sports camps to children with special needs. However, on Sunday night, the group swayed away from sports, by focusing on a day of pampering. โIt just warms my heart to know this organization is here to do this for our children with special needs. Hope Farms said the thieves took a tractor, trailer and 4ร4, which they estimate at about $40,000. Hope Farms is located in Houstonโs Sunny Side neighborhood and dedicates itself to providing nutritious food to the community. According to Cavnar, Hope Farms, like many nonprofits and local businesses, is struggling because of the pandemic. Anyone with information on the stolen equipment or persons responsible is asked to call the Houston Police Department at 713-884-3131.

Jeffrey Lewings, the Veterans Services Supervisor for BakerRipley, said the program has helped hundreds of veterans this year alone and thousands since it started back in 2013. โThere are so many veterans out there that feel that theyโre alone, that theyโre by themselves. โItโs a phenomenal feeling to be able to assist and help the veterans." BakerRipley hopes that more veterans in need of help will reach out about the program.
