An elementary school student is recovering at a Houston hospital after being struck by a Barber Bill Independent School District bus Thursday morning, according to the district.

Four students were transported to the hospital Monday morning after their school bus crashed head-on into an 18 wheeler, according to Waller Independent School District.

HOUSTON, Texas – An Alief ISD bus was involved in a crash on the feeder road of the Southwest Freeway Monday afternoon. Houston police responded to reports of an accident at 9201 Club Creek around 3:30 p.m.Officials say there were three students on board at the time of the accident, but no injuries were reported. The students were transferred to another bus and taken home.
