Children's Museum Houston is celebrating ‘Spring Break Blast’ through March 23rd with daily activities.

The Big Bounce America is making its stop in Houston this weekend, March 14-16, at SaberCats Stadium, home of the Houston SaberCats Rugby Team. The touring event features a 24,000-square-foot bounce house, which organizers say is the largest in the world. Inside, there are giant slides, climbing towers, ball pits, and even a live DJ leading games and music for all ages. Sessions are split up by age groups, including a special adults-only session for those looking to bounce without the kids.

The Rink: Rolling at Discovery Green is open until April 13, offering outdoor roller skating for all ages in Houston. Enjoy sessions from 5 p.m. to 10 p.m. on weekdays and extended hours on weekends.

HOUSTON – If you’re planning a staycation in the Houston area during spring break, the Houston Zoo may be a fun stop for the family. The exhibit will feature a dozen animatronic prehistoric creatures, like an eight-foot-tall terror bird, a saber-toothed tiger and T-Rex’s larger cousin Giganotosaurus. The Houston Zoo said its health and safety guidelines are still in effect after the governor announced the ending of the statewide mask order and reopening Texas. Zoo officials said all visitors 10 years and older are required to wear a face mask. Zoo staff are continuously cleaning and disinfecting high-touch surfaces, and free hand sanitizer is available throughout the zoo.

HOUSTON – More cases of coronavirus are surfacing in the greater Houston area, and they are all linked to a Nile River cruise in Egypt. ”All of these individuals were on the same trip together... in Egypt,” said Houston Mayor Sylvester Turner. Three people in Maryland have tested positive for the coronavirus and have also been connected to the Nile River cruise, the Washington Post reports. The first positive Coronavirus test from the group was announced Wednesday in Fort Bend. KPRC 2 sources confirmed health officials are currently investigating another eight people because they were also on the same Egypt trip.
