It is so dry that starting this Sunday, Aug. 27, Houstonians will be forced to limit using water outside at certain times and breaking those rules could cost you.

The city of Houston announced they will be entering stage two of the Drought Contingency Plan, which will go into effective on Monday.

Tomball announced Wednesday that it has issued a mandatory watering restriction as the city has moved to moderate drought conditions or Stage 2, due to the current water demand surpassing 70% of production capacity for three consecutive days.
