HOUSTON – The Gulf Freeway northbound is shut down Wednesday after a deadly auto-pedestrian crash, authorities said.
Officers with the Houston Police Department received a call about a body that was on the Gulf Freeway near Telephone Road.

Drivers are urged to find an alternate route as major delays as long as an hour are expected in the area.
