HOUSTON – Hello Houston!
What a week!! It never stopped raining, since heavy rain pushed through on Sunday. Then, as we welcomed a new week, our friends up to the north and west got hit with a serious ice storm. Folks in Dallas, Austin, College Station/Bryan, and into the Hill Country dealt with dangerous icy road conditions. Several multi-vehicle pileups were reported all across the state.

I remember what it was like here in Houston just two years ago, when that catastrophic February ice storm knocked out power, made travel impossible on our highways and claimed hundreds of lives. So today, I sit here in full gratitude that we, here in our viewing area, steered clear of that extreme weather. It’s still COLD and rainy, but let me tell you...I WILL TAKE IT over ice any day!

We should finally get some sun this weekend and should be rain-free so enjoy! Have a great weekend and drive safely my friends :)
