The Orange Show’s 37th Annual Houston Art Car Parade is Saturday. There will be multiple days of creativity and more than 250 mobile masterpieces. As we roll into the weekend, people can expect closures for the big parade.

Art Car Parade Route
You may have noticed some closures this week leading up to the big event. If you are heading out to the parade on Saturday, it will begin at 2 pm. The route will start on Dallas at Bagby St. and make a left turn onto Smith St. The parade will then make a left onto Walker St., head to Bagby, and continue to Lamar/Allen Parkway.
Parade & Staging Closures
On Saturday, staging will start at 7 a.m. on Allen Parkway (inbound) from Shepherd to Bagby St. Here are the closures you can expect on Saturday:
TOTAL CLOSURE 7 a.m. - 6 p.m.
• Inbound Allen Parkway from Shepherd to Bagby
• Outbound Allen Parkway from Bagby to Waugh
• Bagby St. from Walker St. to Dallas St.
CURB LANE CLOSURE 7 a.m. - 6 p.m.
• Tirrell St. between Allen Parkway and Dallas
TOTAL CLOSURE 1 p.m.- 5 p.m.
• Smith St. between Dallas St. and Rusk St.
• Dallas St. between Bagby St. and Smith St.
