The Texas Rattlers and Austin Gamblers, two top teams in Professional Bull Riders' league, will face off in a rivalry game at the Toyota Center in Houston on January 17, 2025. This matchup, part of the PBR Unleash The Beast series that runs Saturday, January 17 through Sunday, January 18, marks the first-ever Texas Cup competition between the 2023 and 2024 PBR Teams World Champions. The event is part of the Monster Energy Team Challenge, showcasing rivalry games during select Unleash The Beast events leading up to the 2025 season. The competition will feature six riders from each team, with the highest aggregate score determining the winner. The rivalry is intense, with Texas leading the all-time series 7-6.
