10-year-old, mother killed in wrong-way crash on I-45 S and Memorial Dr.

A mother and her 10-year-old were tragically killed in a crash involving a driver going the opposite direction of I-45 S early Monday morning. Investigators said 5 others were hurt, including the woman's husband, daughter and the accused driver responsible.
