Houston billionaire Tilman Fertitta has announced his resignation as CEO of Landry's Inc. as he prepares for his anticipated confirmation as U.S. Ambassador to Italy. Fertitta, who owns more than 600 hospitality establishments and the Houston Rockets, will maintain passive ownership of his businesses.
