Tonight’s forecast:

Tonight will be cloudy and mile with temperatures staying around 70 degrees. Showers and thunderstorms will be possible after midnight tonight ahead of the cold front. The strongest storms are most likely as the front passes through with damaging wind gusts possible.

Monday’s Forecast:

The unseasonably warm temperatures come to an end on Monday when a front and rain moves through. The heaviest of the rain will be pushing through the center of the Houston Metro by the noon hour.

We’ll see temperatures dropping through the day from the upper 60s and low 70s into the 50s as the front moves off the coast, followed by a brisk north wind.

Excessive rain will not be a concern but heavy rain during a short period of time is a real possibility as the front moves through.

Monday front will bring half an inch to an inch and a half of wide spread rain. (KPRC)

10-Day Forecast:

A cold front will bring rain chances Monday and bring our temperatures down into the 60s and 50s. Expect a gradual warm up through Friday ahead of our next front for the following weekend.

Warm ahead of rain and colder temps to start the week. We'll head back toward the 80s by week's end. (KPRC)
