Tonight’s Forecast

Tonight we will have mostly cloudy skies with temperatures dropping to the lower-50s. It is unlikely anybody in SE Texas will see the Geminids meteor shower because of the cloud cover. The Geminid meteor shower could be seen both tonight and Thursday nights if it was clear.

Cool & quiet Thursday:

Tomorrow we will have mostly cloudy skies with a breeze from the NE at 10mph. Temperatures will warm from the lower-50s to the mid-to-upper 60s in the afternoon. There is a slight chance for passing drizzle.

Tracking heavy rain Friday:

A cold front sweeps through SE Texas Friday. There is no severe weather threat but we will be watching for stronger thunderstorms with lightning. Here is a look at the latest timeline. The storms will enter our far NW counties along the cold front between 3-5PM. There will also be the chance for some pre-frontal showers and storms.
