Tracking heavy rain Friday:

A cold front sweeps through SE Texas Friday. There is no severe weather threat, but street flooding is possible. The latest timeline has the storms moving through Houston tomorrow night. The storms will enter our far NW counties around 6pm. The storms reach the Houston metro between 9-10PM. They’ll hit the coast around midnight. We’re rain free when we wake up Saturday morning. Street flooding is possible if the storms “train.” Rain totals could go up to 2″-4″. If we don’t get training rain amounts will be much less.

10-Day forecast:

After Saturday morning, skies clear. Because our storms come from a Pacific front, we won’t get a drastic drop in temperatures. Saturday is dry, chilly, and breezy with highs in the 50s.
