Sun to fog for Houston’s last day of 2023

Tonight’s Forecast:

After a mild and sunny day, Saturday night stays dry with temperatures falling into the upper 30s and low to mid 40s.

New Year’s Eve Forecast:

Waking up to temperatures in the upper 30s and low 40s the cool temperatures don’t stay long. Sunday afternoon is beautiful with sunshine and daytime highs in the low 70s.

It isn’t until Sunday night where things start to change ahead as a cold front approaches overnight. New Year’s Eve night a chance for fog and hazy conditions due to firework smoke. After midnight a chance for a few showers that will continue into Monday morning.

First Day of 2024:

A cold front will move through Monday morning bringing spotty showers across southeast. Behind the front much of the day is dry with seasonal temperatures.
