Heading into late Tuesday evening-- widespread rain moves in. These storms don’t look severe and don’t bring a flood threat but expect a soaking with around an inch of rain falling through the early morning hours of Wednesday. All the rain is out for our ride to work Wednesday, however, some roads may still be wet from the overnight rain.
Next storm system Friday:
Storm system number two arrives Friday. This system looks stronger and thus most of SE Texas has a low threat for street flooding.
As of now, the bulk of the rain appears to move through Friday morning, which should leave the afternoon and evening dry and chilly.
10-Day forecast:
More rain is expected Monday. This could put a damper in tailgating plans for the college football National Championship at NRG. Temperatures range from chilly to cool for the next ten days.
