One of the best sources for tracking rain is a host of thousands of weather watchers across the country, known as CoCoRahs: Commuity Colaborative Rain, Hail and Snow Network. Volunteers have undergone training and submit their reports as many as four times a day. Here’s a look at the homepage and you’ll see all those reports from this morning across the country:

Supported by NOAA, a host of universities and other government agencies, CoCoRahs is free to use and free to join if you’d like to throw your weather hat in the ring! You can find out more right here.
We’ll need all sources for tracking this week’s rain and remember: Turn Around, Don’t Drown!
